Online Safety
Keep Your Kids Safe in a Digital Age
In a growing digital age where we have the world at our finger tips, challenges and concerns about safety with technology seem overwhelming. So many shocking studies are coming out about the negative impact technology, social media, gaming and online access to anything and everything has on the mental and emotional health of our youth when not proactively monitored and limited.
Protecting your kids online starts with staying informed and being intentional about setting appropriate boundaries and monitoring online access and devices. It also requires adults to lead by example and set the tone for appropriate online behavior and time spent on our own electronic devices. We are just as guilty and spend as much time on our devices as kids. Fight to change this in your home! Technology and the digital age is a battleground in and of itself and we must do everything we can to help our youth navigate in a healthy and God honoring way.

I strongly recommend you research and monitor EVERYTHING your child has online access to and limit screen time as much as possible. I've seen too many destructive and devastating consequences of what happens when our youth make unwise decisions with technology.
Below is a list of helpful resources to monitor your child's access and set appropriate guard rails that will keep them safe and educated about the consequences of digital habits and behavior.
